Trouble don't get upset now.

We both know that while he was in office, Clinton was everybit if not more fun to slice up, now wasn't he?? :)

Look, I'll tell you straight up. I never had a problem with Clinton, his policies....nothing. Things were "seemingly" going smoothly. Course, he let things slip past him with Bin Laden, but I don't fault the man one bit for that. I don't think ANYBODY realized that Bin Laden could himself have had such world-wide impact and ESPECIALLY such an impact here.

When I had my problem with Clinton was when he continued to lie to us.....to WE THE PEOPLE, to the courts, to his wife and to himself. I lost total respect for the man and unlike how the democrats feel, we should have all overlooked that one factor....his LIES. Why? Because we all had money? Didn't that bubble pop?

I don't think I've ever been more honest here than I am right now, but I would say that Clinton's long sought after legacy of his Presidency would have happened just as he wanted it, if he had done one thing.

Took the fucking time and grew a large enough sack to stand before the American People and look us square in the eye the way he did when he shook his finger at us, "I never had sex with that women....blah, blah" and said "I'm sorry, I lied to you."

You would be amazed at how far that would have gone to garner affection from the people.

Instead, well, the rest is "history" as they say.

Yep, Clinton was a sorry, lying, no good son of a bitch. Never liked the man, thought he was spineless. I hear you when you say an admission of their lying would make a world of difference. I kind of wish Bush would do the same thing with the WMD in Iraq, know what I mean?

Be it democrat or republican, they are still politicians!

ALL of them lie. ALL of them manipulate. ALL of them are only really interested in re-election (I for one do not blame them for that though, we don't expect anyone else to put their job in jeopardy now do we?) After all, I would LOVE to be able to sit around, smart off and either stick my little plastic card in a machine and vote "yea" "nay" or "present" and make what, $150,000.00 a year plus benefits that the poor peons can't even dream about. I wouldn't put that in jeopardy either.

The WORST possible political system in all of history, except for all the rest.

I'm sorry you haven't yet realized the difference in having been given mis-leading information and direct, purposeful lies.

But yes, I too would have more respect for Bush if he himself had said they made a mistake about the WMD.

Didn't seem to matter too much last election though.

The way I look at it, if you are going to wage war on another country, you better double, triple check that your information is right. There should be no "oops" later on down the line. I personally don't think Bush was misled, too many inconsistencies, too many slip ups, but that is just my personal opinion.

I'll give you this much Trouble, you are a very loyal republican. (i don't mean that as a slam either)

But really basca, I vote policy. I just happen to think Bush gets a bum rap alot. A whole lot. That's why I squack so.

I do not agree with his border policy one bit. I would like to see the borders sealed up completely. It can be done, he isn't trying, in fact, his policy is detrimental to the effort. I don't like that.

But, when I was given the choice between Bush policy and Kerry policy, I had to go with the republicans and frankly, I see no other alternative that is viable for me right now.

I voted Perot and look what I got that election year.

I'm alot more than just a republican.

But for now, they'll do. :winky

Trouble the problem is the same with the republicans as it is for the democrats. Their inconsistencies. They want government to stay out of big business and let the free eneterprize system work, they tout that big government is bad and that less is better. Yet they have absolutely no aversion to using government to institute their social agendas. Same holds true for the democrats. A bunch of hypocrites if you ask me.

Here's a little something from the heart:

The election is over, the results are known,
The will of the people has clearly been shown.

Let's forget the quarrels and show by our deeds,
We will give our leader all the help that he needs.

So let's all get together, and let bitterness pass,
I'll hug your elephant and you kiss my ass!

one the one hand we have Clinton lying about having sex with 'that woman'. and the other hand we have Bush lying (or letting himself be purposefully misled) about WMD, Hussein, the threat of Irag to the US......need I go on? Clinton hurt his family, Bush is hurting the country.

Not to mention the fact that clinton's lies hurt no one physically...bush's lies have caused people to die.
