View Full Version : The Bard is the Word Gladiator!
Know That!
&
Know it Deep!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/BohenGallery/bardgladiator.jpg
And most ALL know it baby!
:cool
They used to come from miles around, from all parts of the world, to try their luck with the Bard in the arena.
Many a brave, many a foolish, but all crawled away in untold defeat.
The citizens of Bardonia grew weary of the slaughter and bloodshed.
:cool
Few dare even try anymore, since the reputation and fame of the Bard has blazed a trail across the globe.
Even the young, reckless, and foolish gunslingers, have lost their appetite for being shamed
:cool
The untold FURY of the Bard is devastating, when laid upon the neck of his enemy.

What, no pension for gladiators? Sooner or later you'll have to retire with or without one. :ohwell

OK.
What, no pension for gladiators? Sooner or later you'll have to retire with or without one.
How's that, better?
Or should I say.....what drives you, the thrill of the hunt? The battlefield screams? Or are the multiple blows to the head starting to confuse you? :poke

I thought you were suggesting I was too old.
I did not know about the no pension thing. :ohwell
What drives me?
I have taken no blows, my pretty face proves this Snuffy, none are quick enough. So, we can eliminate that scenario.
What drives me?
The rush of the arena, watching the young guns sashay and saunter into the Bards gladiator arena, the same way they always do, all cocky like.
Due to their youth, I ALWAYS see them underestimating their opponent, as a seasoned warrior never would do.
I'm amused by the fact, that they try to dictate the arena rules (rules of engagement) to me, on my turf.
I like how each one who steps up to the plate, thinks he is the exceptional one, that will defeat me, whilest hundreds and masses precede him in heaped shame and defeat.
And I'm amused how so many of the rough and tumble fellows run away crying in the end, instead of shaking hands like men, and becoming friends.
And they cry as they run, whimper and whine into the sunset.
I like being King of the mountain too. :rofl
Snuffy,
I think lemon is our newest arrival too.

basca will never go away, hence, the haunt title, she so richly deserves Snuffy.
Snuffy, in my days when I patronized bars and clubs, and worked doors, men always wanted to take me down.
They could just not fathom, how such a good looking guy, and moderatly sized, could be such a bad-ass.
A referance for you might be this movie Snuffy.
Patrick Swazes movie "Roadhouse" was written about the Bard.
Patrick did a fair job portraying the Bard, I guess. :cool
