View Full Version : Who Remembers Joe Pyne
The Bard grew up listening to Joe on his transistor radio, yeah, I know, I run this thread every so often, cus I loved Joe Pyne, and I can never get enough, of hearing from folks who listened to him on radio.
TV was not a good move for him, he was his best behind a mic.
He WAS the first shock jock ever!
Nobody could bait like Joe

Joe was engaging and funny as hell Sunny, if my parents had known I was listening to Joe at night, they woulda whooped me good.... :laugh
He used to get listeners spitting mad, then just hang up on them and say
Next caller :rofl
Kicking it in rememberance of you Joe
And those first days of transistor radios
you were the best EVER Joe :reporter
You should have said NO to the seductive TV camera
It was, sadly, your downfall
Not all, can make the transition like the bard baby
Know that!

The second part of the above show on communism was the Joe I remembered from childhood on the radio, it gives you a fair taste of how Joes radio show was, folks would call in, one after another live, in order to debate Joe, few won... :laugh
Though are politics differ a tad, but Joe could make a fool out of most
He was a great Word warrior, and would a been a KING on the boards :laugh
