You can't convince me of anything other than Uncle Sam is making a list....

'Free' iTunes from National Guard

The Army National Guard is fishing for recruits and they're using the temptation of three "free" iTunes Music Store downloads as bait. You're required to provide some information and agree to the following:

Yes, I understand that the Army National Guard will send me information about great new Army National Guard benefits! I also understand that I will be contacted by a recruiter, and that's OK with me!

Two facts need to be emphasized here. First, three tracks from the iTunes Music Store are worth about $3. Second, the Army National Guard's spin states a recruiter (with a quota to fill and he's probably behind) WILL be contacting you.

Then again, if you're a 40-year-old that's a physical wreck, like me, then this offer is pure gravy..

Google this and there are several places that reported this.

Eh, its no more different or sneaky than what every company on the planet with a web site has been doing for years.

If you're stupid enough to fall for that scam from any scource, maybe your best job opportunity will be as a human shield to preserve our oil prices.
