View Full Version : Unbowed, Me

So? I wear a bow in my hair
What does that mean?
You see me as a girl, feeling uneasy,
Thinking thoughts you feel obscene
I'll remove the bow,now see me as I am
With my hair hanging loose.......
I am not the virgin child,
Or the maiden recluse
I am a woman strong and sure
See me for who I am
The child orphaned in the streets
And no, I can't wear white
Does it really matter?
When,if you touch my breast
Does it appear unclean to you?
I've learned from what I've known
But i am not dirty,soiled
What about me, what thing
Has your emotions so roiled?
Just touch,caress, you'll see
How pleasant,and delightful I feel
For I am not unschooled
Just untutored.

I notice that your poems are dated from some time ago, and I wonder are you still writing? :thumbsup Hope so.

I am still writing. Just getting them all editted, and saved on the computer. Am within spitting distance of being up to the 06 models :thumbsup . Am i ever glad. It's been hard, trying to balance that against the needs of 3 wee ones. You best keep writing yourself!
