What could we have said that wasn't said?
What could be added to what's known?
What's left of that time spent?
An infinite line, divisive,
in the pregnant crush of memories.
And the salty pain that doesn't fit me
when the night shows her dress
and I don't have you.
The crescent darkness keeps altering
the shapes. Everything is getting erased.
Soon it'll all be a blurred shadow,
an imperceptible trace
of what was never said,
of what was never known,
of what was forever frozen in time.

...so beautiful.

Thank you.
I had a book of poetry once, that had both spanish and english versions of the poem on the facing pages. I loved it. I gave it to a couple that were going to soon be married. She spoke only spanish, and he only english. I thought it appropriate that they have my book of spanish/english love sonnets, although I'm sure they had communications skills beyond the language of words.
