Yeah, mock me, it is typical.

Silence or mockery

Abandonment or attack

My lot in life is clear enough, I should think.

Apparent to all

I'm not abandoning you either. I've been at an out-of-town wedding of my dear friends for the last 4 days. It was on Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula here in WA. It was beautiful! I'll try and post some pics later.

No, where outside of Seattle? I think I've heard of it, but since I don't eat meat, I usually avoid BBQ places. Do they have BBQ tofu? :biglaugh

My sis took us to Dixie's when we visited her in Seattle a couple years ago.
I don't remember exactly where it was, but it seems it was just southeast of Seattle, if my memory is correct. I did find some links to it....

Welcome back Poodles! :happy

FF, The Man is Gene's hotsauce. He gives you a couple molecules on a toothpick and judges your reaction to it. IF he thinks you can handle it, he'll put however much he thinks you can handle onto your BBQ, if you want it.
He LADLED that stuff on mine!

Bein' from Tejas, if the food don't make ya sweat...then it ain't no good.
Bender...next time I'm in Tejas I'll whip you up one of Cat's Habenero burgers slathered in Woody's sauce.
You know what I'm talkin' bout!
Hotter than a June bride. Yeehaw!

I hate food that is so spicy it hurts. I know alot people like it, but I can't comprehend people enjoying being in pain while eating. :shrug

There's good pain and there's bad pain, FF.
It's always good to agree on a control word with the Chef like Bender did. LOL.
It's not my fault. My father grew fresh jalapeņos in the back yard when I was a kid. So you could say I've been a fire-breather since about the age of 4.

I told the waitress in our Thai restaurant I wanted my Pad Kee Mao "Thai hot". She gasped and warned me, "It's VERY hot"! I told her I know that.
She shrugged and said, "Okaaaaayyy"!
When she brought my order out she set it down and warned me again that it's very very hot. I began chowin' down. Then the manager came over and asked if I was alright. Told her I'm fine. She looked worried, but I assured her the food wasn't as hot as my chili when I make it. Then I looked up and saw the entire staff standing by the kitchen door staring at me, and twittering behind their hands.
That Pad Kee Mao was JUST warm enough to get my nose runnin' a little. I love that stuff!

I guess fellow chili heads understand it. :happy

From one chili head to another:I'm with you bro!!!Pad kee Mao rocks( So does Pad Prick.what a name!!)Mine was a #3 on the 1 to 3 hot scale despite warnings from the waitress. They were amazed when my kids and I wolfed it down without hesitation.Must admit I did weep as I ate,but thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!!
