The Bard knows people!

I'll give you the truth.

Ask the Bard about ANY poster on this board or others.

If I know them, I'll give you the profile.

The Bard is seldom wrong.

:cool

Bard

Lyn

basca, like yourself, is an utter haunt.

Yet imbued with comedic witt, therefore having a redeeming quality.

Bright as can be.

Yet, basca knows her limitations, unlike you.

And basca is much nicer than you.

Pretty much you are siamese twins in my opinion.

The only true measure of your greatness, is you both like the Bard, this reveals grandness in both your characters. :clap

basca likes to engage,in verbal debate, but like you, gets flustered and stutters.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share :happy

Ppppppplease tell us us us aboutttttt Lllllllll...Lyn.

ps...better be nice about her, becaue the more I see her post, the more she reminds me of my friend Mia! :rahrah

(and when this thread is about dead...we get to tell you what we think of the Bard.)

Yes I know you mentioned her above, but she deserves her own post.

Bard

basca,

That is easy,

Lyn is SNIDE

Afterall, the back-biting crone Maggie (3parrots) said so afterall.

Troubles number one fan.

And who would be a better source than Margaret, the pot-stirring back room, trouble-making gossipping crone, when it comes to the subject of SNIDE, afterall, she has looked into the mirror for about ten decades now, in order to see SNIDE staring back, so, I guess, she would know.

Just kidding of course :rofl

About Lyn that is.

I do not much like neanderthals taking shots at bardonian posters.

Lyn is better at ignoring crone trolls than I am I fear.

Lyn is extremely bright moody and unpredictable.

Her appreciation span for the Bard is limited :laugh

She is a very good debater, when engaging a serious mind, yet has little to no tolerance for assholes who only call names while thinking they are debating.

Lyn can be extremely funny, inbetween her darker more haunting periods, periods I am sure you can identify with basca.

What about Snuffy.....lots can be said I imagine. :ohwell

Snuffy is the funniest guy on these boards bar none!

I enjoy his comedic banter as much as anyone, I have had the privlidge of exchanging with.

Hes an ex pro ball player, so all the ladies love him.

He also makes hand crafted pens that make the ladies swoon.

He has been with the Bards almost from the beginning, he used to be the Bards council, till he fucked up on advice a few times :rofl

He spends MORE time at IP's Gilead than here! :banghead

The Bard calls him a friend, and he calls the Bard an asshole :hmph

Go figure.....

Maybe he'll put up some pics of his pens, and tell you how to get them if you ask nice basca,

He does NOT charge enough though :sad

Snuffy is a comedic genius in my book.

I asked you first. :finger

Bard
09-22-2005, 01:13 PM
I asked you first. :finger

Ross is a braggart backstabbing bag of wind.

He is like an old dusty boring toy you dig out on a rainy day when you are stuck inside the house at age 8.

He is an old carny-barker that used to move around signing on with different two-bit one tent circuses.

Then one day about five years ago, he suddenly fell victim to dillusional thinking (some say under the influence of LSD, merely sundry gossip I'm sure)

Anyway...... he felt he could run his own circus, soooooo

He high-talied it down to the nearest army navy surplus store, and bought him and old WWII moldy 10 by 10 canvas tent.

Found an old has-been crone lioness to jump through a hoop, bought ten chairs, and still is going strong in Death Valley I last heard.

I hear the old lion is all beat-up looking now, and all fat, but he uses a whip, and by golly, the old bat can still make it through the hoop, for the evening performance, for the few in the audience. :rahrah

She is a real crowd-pleaser I hear.

That's about all I know Tarl. :happy

Cept I heard the ASPCA may take away the old broken down lioness though, cus of the whipping.

Yorkshire Lass. Please do include the complete Haggis story. :thumbsup

I will not discuss Haggis!

IF they exist! That is if!

The Lass has bits of it dangling from between her teeth, whilst, she plays those silly instruments she plays, spoons or something.

Anyway, goofybutt Yorkshire Lass, has haunted me about Haggis ALMOST from the conception of the Bards.

She is very sweet, runs off during wars,(yet, has a strong voice, and uses it when she is so moved) therefore, when she speaks, folk listen, Lass has high calibur credibility.

After brawls, Lass won't sweep up the eye-balls in the morning, which is the fucking Brits job here. :sad

Actually, the Brit Lass is one in a million, never demands anything, never seeks the spotlite, and yet is one of the brightest and FUNNIEST posters here EVER!

IP & I adore the Lass, God NEVER made a sweeter Lass ever!

Snuffy could tell you more, their haunt side is the same, two peas in a pod.

I think she rings bells too :cool

Genie goes all the way back to the beginning almost.

Once again, Genie has never required the spotlite, never been demanding in any way shape or form.

I have often stated, Genie is like the perfect poster

Supportive to the hilt

She has been through many a tough war and battlefield, and NEVER betrayed nor abandoned the Bards.

Genie is faithul.

I would want her watching my back, in a barroom brawl.

Loyalty comes to mind.

Did I mention witty and colorful?

Well, I will not go there, her head would just get too big.

Genie has been a pleasure to have, pure and simple, if I had to write a referance, it would be a good one.

Genie has been our friend Laura.

:flowers

Ahh the Indian Princess...

I have only ever heard one or two enemies of mine dare to say something campy or pedestrian about IP, due to this fact.

It would be unwarranted.

Due to my engaging propensity to stir debate, I have the distinct honor of perhaps, being the most loathed celebrity in boardieland.

I have had more Bard bash boards started in my honor than anyone else I know.

I have been under attack as a board and as an individual from the conception of the Bards.

I said all that, to say this...

Inspite of all the insults my IP has heard hurled at me, she has never once cast an ugly word at ANYONE.

ANYONE who has been around these boards any length of time knows how impossible this seemingly is.

Yet IP has done it.

IP is gracious to a fault, and posseses a heart as big as the outdoors.

Any man who ever insulted her in my physical presence most likely, would be, no more.

IP's outer beauty, is only paled by comparison, to the beauty in essence, she wears inside her heart.

I adore and love IP with all I possess and with all that I am, what's not to love?

IP is a brilliant singer, artist and photographer.

She has the brightest mind I have ever had the honor to know, she is besides the funniest person I have EVER known.

IP is all I ever wanted my entire life, and still is all I want.

I will stop now, or you will never get to bed.

IP is, my dream of a lifetime come true, and the kindest soul, I have ever encountered, upon this pathway we call life.

Controversial, misunderstood, and a comic few understand.

Simple, yet complex, self educated (not to imply educated)

Fair & forgiving.

Explosive, tornadic, passionate, compassionate and affable, all rolled into one.

Mo,

Mo is an extremly multi-talented, well-read, and bright educated man.

He is artsy, faithful, and supportive when the chips are down.

Mo, has said some things to me during some dramatic times on this board in the past, that have meant the world to me.

He is a rather astounding poet, and one of the funniest men I know.

I consider it a true honor to have Mo posting at the Bards.

Twiggy

The Berdoo-biker brat

We share some of the old hells angels stomping grounds we do.

Twiggy is an independent individual, walks her own road and apologises not to any for the stances she embraces.

I like that in an individual.

I respect her passion and heart, which is good.

She is not right as often as the Bard...

But she is ALWAYS the last to find out! :laugh

I like Twiggy, we have locked horns before, and will again I am certain.

But we don't part company over squabbles.

I cannot say much about Wolf at all, seeing that she is quite new.

All I can say is that I like her.

And Wolf HAS made me laugh on ocassion.

It just goes to show, I do generally study posters for a long time before I make assesements, it only proves, I don't generally make them quickly, and without basis,

Awww.....you LIKE me, you REALLY LIKE me!

Glad I can make you laugh -- hope to be sticking around more often now :)

Stray Star happens to be a wise ass, who I suspect still is doing colors :laugh

Stray is an enigma, as well as one of our oldest supporters and posters at the Bards

He is our resident DJ, nobody spins em like Stray Star

Stray is here because he loves great comedy, that means he thinks the Bard is a crazy asshole :shrug

He's a rich available cat that lives on a pretty river ladies :clap

He is an old ass-kicking hippy that STILL knows how to party

The Bard counts stray as a friend, and looks forward to smoking a bowl with him one day, if, life should grant it.

We go way back, and have seen a lot of changes at the Bards togeather

And I'm hoping to we shall see a lot more..

We have had some great times, Stray is one of those cats that makes the bards the greatest board in the world.

I value Clemie as a poster at the Bards, hes a bright fellow, and we are pleased and honored to have him.

thank you Bard. I got off shortly after I posted and just felt well enough to get back on. I am glad that you like Pinned and Wolfie because they are good people. :flowers

Now, what do I think of you:

a firm believer in personal rights, a very conservative, traditional religious man. a bush hater (well, we cannot agree on everything can we). a kind person until you push him to far and then he will come back swinging. (I think that IP keeps him in check :flowers )

someone that I felt that I could trust right off. no holds barred with him. He does not lie just to make you feel better. He has principles and he stands by them (much like my hubby) but also tries not to stomp all over the opinions and rights of others. :thumbsup

politically, we are spread apart. but not that far. but I feel that he realises where my loyalties to the military comes from and has nothing to do with political parties etc.

a person that makes me think about what I feel about things before I post. does not just confront but asks for opinions and discusses. :flowers

I bet that you and IP were flower people in the 70s, I was a military wife by 74. and so in some ways always conventional except for my beliefs in the supernatural and the unexplained. a strange mix but one that Bard seems to accept my strange mix of beliefs. :D hubby and I just started a flower children life of being naturalists later, that is all. :D :winky and I think I will start using the color here.

Barry Barris

Is the funniest man in Hollywood
His superimposed pics have busted the Bard up from day one!
It has been my pleasure to know Barry for about three years on the boards now.
He is a gentleman, who stands head & sholuders above all others in that regard in my opinion.
he is kind to all, even the Bard
Barry Barris is a barrel of blooming fun.
I hope to smoke a bowl with Barry one day. :happy

Baggie,
Is an enigma, I also have known Baggie for three years on these boards, he busted my balls BIGTIME when I first came aboard :thud
He is a talented writer with a great imagination, and has authored one book already.
Baggie tells the greatest stories EVER, cus they are ALL true!
Baggie is the real deal
what you see is what you get!
No pretence whatsoever
The Bard likes baggie, always has, always will.
Baggie is a very confident man, that could give two shits what others think about his opinions, he cracks me up :laugh

Purplesusa,

Has been a favorite friend of the Bards for a longtime now.

Her dog Isabel has brought me great joy and laughter

Susa is the funniest lady around, faithful, brave, talented and bright.

Grace runs a board with sear

Grace has been with us a long time now, through thick and thin, and still remains one of our most faithful and bright Bardonian posters.

I should mention as well, a very classy lady, who has never spoken a bad word about, or towards any here at the Bards

Hub can be funny too, obviously he likes humor (Bunny)

That's what I meant, Center Of Attention! :winky

:rahrah

What about Jay, that always brings her out of the woodwork...and she'll slam me for that!!!

Jay only comes to the Bards to make trouble, she spends aLL of her time insulting the Bard, for unsubstantiated BS, that she will NEVER so much as back-up with a link or facts.

she races in here time and again, sticking her crone nose into squabbles that do not involve her.

She loves playing wonderwoman.

I have given the crone a million chances, and have been nice to her each time she returns.

She still spends a good deal of her time bashing my ass on other boards.

All know, NONE can get along with Jay!

Jay insists, it's everybody else! never her!

Jay is intolerable, abusive, incoherent, and meanspirited.

She is still welcome at the Bards as all others are, but the time stealing attention-whore will never steal another second of my time.

PS,

Jays most annoying defect of character is thinking she is a star, always accusing all board-owners of baiting her, because she is such a BIG draw!

Like a few others delluded in boardieland.

Be it known the Bards has averaged 7,500 page hits a day for months now, none of our success has EVER been due to the spewing revolting shit, Jay would vomit all over our stage when she would visit.

Jay has a decent side, but she reserves that for a select few, she only displays her monster side at the Bards.

I am pleased to see she is making herself scarse these days, I say bravo.

PS again....

It TAKES a LOT of work to get on the WRONG side of the Bard, Jay and ONLY a few others have achieved this, and they spent a year of hard work accomplishing it as well, they are due their just reward,(the Bards dissaproval) for their lying, gossiping, and decietful nature.

If Jay should ever turn over a new leaf, and present herself here in a dignified lite for once, I will naturally rethink my stance, being the magnanamous and forgiving chap that I am. :happy

All are welcome at the Bards.

Therefore rendereing the Bard vulnerable. :sad

Kay has a very sharp pen, able to articulate, and make folk look very foolish, when they are deserving naturally.

The Bard is NOT exempt from such visitations either :ohwell

Oh well, Kay is one of our strongest posters and personalities at the Bards

Please can you tell us about Nong Khai, Bard?

Chris

NK,

Is a very bright and witty poster, who spends a good portion of his time and talent taking shots, (often cheap ones) at the Bard.

I think when NK takes his shots, he is generally shrouded in a passive aggressive robe, that dismisses him from any and all, same said jabs, (in his mind that is)

NK will generally ALWAYS pass these remarks off as merely joking.

Few know the entire history, but NK seldom comes around without doing a drive-by on the Bard, amusing to others, tiresome to the Bard.

Yet, being the forgiving type I am, I have always openly admited I like NK, therefore is is still welcome, and forgiven. :happy

He has not been around much recently, I suspect he is wondering if we will survive without him :rofl

Bard likes NK.

The Bard refers to him as the ever eloquent NK.

The Bard misses him, sorta, kinda, a wee bit, there is a shade of something endearing that NK discloses rarely, that captures ones affection, sorta, kinda, that is.

NK, is a very very colorful writer, witty to a fault.

We agree on nothing.

He hates my use of smileys too, I use them lots around him, just in order to piss him off. :hmph

Jannilu...

In Jans case, this delights me, because Jan is sweet, funny, and uses cool pics.

Have you done "deewheat" yet Bard? I always liked her posts.

Deewheat is a strong poster,

We do not agree on anything.

Nevertheless, she has a mic and stage here at the Bards anytime she wants.

Dee never calls others names, but posts with respect to other posters.

Dee is brave and passionate, when expressing her views, matters not if the masses agree with her point of view or not.

You have to respect that.

Her last round at the Bards got pretty messy, I do not know if you recall that?

After Katrina hit?

But Dee generally often puts some time in between her visits to the Bards.

Kashtin, is a wannabe player, who wants to rumble with the Bard, but is afrad to bring it here, he claims we have attack dogs.

He feels safer bad-mouthing me at other places.

I have no time for two bit players, trying to engage me, thinking they can build a reputation, off the battle.

I engage who I want, when I please.

I dismiss those others, as whats his name, deeming them not worthy of the arena, or my time.

If the bad boy pretend player, wants me, he knows where to find me, I'm easy to find, always have been, always will be.

The crowd, now more of a mob, was suddenly galvanized, nay, electrified, when someone shouted, "but who, who shall do the Bard?". Just then the howl of a Harley roared to the front of the milling masses. A frightening figure in black swug off the saddle, whip in hand, but face covered by a black visor. Slowly the helmet came off, the crowd gasped, it was, it was, one of the most feared posters ever to post a post, it was the dreaded Biker Babe, The Twig.
"Crack" the whip spoke. She glared at the suddenly silent, gaping, but strangely expectant, huddled throng of humanity.
"You looking at me?" she challenged. "You looking at me? cus I don't see anyone else? You looking at me?" she glared at the now cowed herd. "Yah, yah, I'll do the Bard! Ain't no one else got the guts. Well, I got the guts. So listen up she began"...

Good one IP.

PR has been around since the beginning of the Bards.

He owns GT, (Ghost Town) where the Bard is banned. :rofl

Some of you remember the HUGE pumpkin thread, well that is PR

The Bard has always been a fan of paleryder's

And I respect him a lot

I feel he is a man of devout integrity, honor, and honesty.

He was one of the FIRST to endorse the Bards when we first opened

By posting at our board

Which was NOT a popular thing to do!

He even lket me interview him.

I felt like I was interviewing a star.

I feel silly saying all this, yet it's true.

When I first came on the boards, his board, was one of the first I ever posted at.

He seemed like a star, and made owning a board look fun & glamorous. :file

He was the very FIRST, to suggest I open my own board

I think he wanted to get rid of me :ohwell

I'm hoping we will see more of PR and his great sunset photos

After pumpkin season is over

PR is also a big western movie buff, as is the bard

What's not to like about that.

When PR sets pen to paper, to write a serious peace

He is a damn impressive writer.

All women love PR.

Mystifies me no end

Is the asshole who always comes to your party, then shits, farts and tossess his cookies all over your carpet everytime he visits.

He always causes many of your guests to leaves, because he always

Farts, shits & pukes all over your carpet,

He then as well, insults you from the time he walks in, while drinking your booze, then demands you fight him in your own house, he insults your guests, and simply never remembers that he is a guest, NOT the owner of the house.

Yet he always wants to come to your parties, because you have friends, and he has none, your house is nicer, and his is covered with shit.

Also because, no others want him in their house anymore either.

And no matter how many chances you give him, he never switches it up, cus he thinks it's funny watching the ladies faces, turn to revulsion, as he hurls and farts, all at the same breath.

Interesting list gunslinger.

newslady-lying crone pot-stirrer of the worst sort, CANNOT be trusted.
spends ALL her time for two years now, chasing Hep around, with her clammoring clan, making a silly ass out of herself. She idolizes Hepburn.

puzzlegoddess-Self serving spammer who only comes around to use the Bards board for some self-serving reason, and to stir up strife. She is despised my most all, and hangs out with the same group of ten, who are despised by all. Few exceptions.

Powderpuff Powerhouse-He is a punk wannabe player, he insults like a schoolgirl. he is jealous of the Bard. He kisses Rosses ass like no other in history, he wants toys right hand man status there, poor guy just doesn't know, he is pissing in the wind, always attacks the Bard at Rosses, cus he thinks it makes him look all rough & tumble. When hes ready to fight, he says "game on!" Which makes me laugh very hard...lOL. I think that is a tennis term. :laugh

P.S. Powerhouse spends every waking moment engaging Hepburn, clearly illustrating to most all, that which we ALL suspected, being this...Powder-puff adores, and is in love, with Hepburn.

All these had ample opportunity to be the Bards friend, they chose every opportunity to be the Bards enemy instead.

If I didn't like her, she could not have.

Bard I think this is on topic as it is about posters only more so in general than a specific poster.

In your opinion why do more than just a couple make it their life work to cause disruption and strife? They travel from board to board with little other purpose. Some will venture out to another board simply to stir up stuff so they can return to their home board and brag about it. I have never seen that here, btw.

I just don't get it. This is the internet. At any point in time that an individual becomes that dissatified and upset all they have to do is point their mouse arrow to that great big X in the upper right hand corner and left click! It is done.

There are some interesting psychological plays being made across internet land that I wish I understood better.

How about jay, i remember a jay, he was the one who pissed on a cat?

and i saw you mention hepburn

I'm pulling names out my ass here that I vaguely remember seeing around

I'll post more as I recall them, it seems all i remember are the bad seeds though as they do make quite an impression with thier shennanigans.
